upsticks: (1973 - Dinner Time)
[personal profile] upsticks
Yesterday, when me and the new housemates had finished cleaning and tidying the new and old houses, one of them drove me to the supermarket.

She was going for beer; I only wanted a few essentials.

She stopped at a refrigerated section, pointed to it, and said, "You like strawberry, don't you?"

I didn't get what she meant.

Then she said, "Sorry, I meant cheese. You like cheese, don't you?"

XD

Haha. Strawberries and cheese - so easy to confuse these two. :D

I get them confused all the time :P

To be fair to her, she'd been awake for about 15 hours, and at least 8 of those were extreme cleaning and house moving related (carrying heavy stuff, frequent journeys, packing, unpacking etc., which can make you really really tired).

I love it when people say the wrong word though. And this? This was just too confusing to understand, how she mixed the two.
