Tense Around Apples

On the Lurpak "Saturday is breakfast day" advert:

Me:  They've got that wrong.
  A:  Yeah, they have. It should be Sunday.
Me:  Yeah, you see, [the things I do on] Saturday is like what my life would be if I didn't have a job. [The stuff I do on] Sunday is what my life would be like if I was unemployed.


I see what I did there.

Please tell me if I'm wrong, but am I right in thinking that

"working out who the audience is",

is a different thing to

"working out who the audience are"?


Which one's right? Are they both grammatically correct?



Jeez this hurts.

Given their record of telling us stuff that's not true, I'm not going to take this as gospel. It could be a double bluff, but I think it's more of a "let's stop all the rumours" rather than the "this person is definitely the next Doctor".

It's not that I'm going to ignore it, but I'm just going to take it with a pinch of salt.


I do hope it's that Matt Smith guy - he'd be absolutely great.
