I love 'efr' as you put it, and I've been craving rice recently, so it made sense :) And I was feeling a little stupid recently, and a little unmotivated. And this time of year (rememberance day) always forces me to remember the film, because of the line "because their is no better way to forget something than to remember it" or some such.
When the film came out, I was doing my History A Level, trying to get into university, discussing the Holocaust and the Boer War, and the "unsatisfactory outcome" of the first world war, and then the second, I lived in Sheffield and I also like teh ghey and the hot boys...
