I think I started to watch it when it was on telly one time, but it went on really late, and I'd missed the first part so I didn't know the characters so I decided I'd rent it out later... which I haven't done yet. We'll watch it when I come to visit, y?
And you're comment made me LOL. actually LOL. So thankyou for those LOLs. Good times are needed :)
It seems like it's not just celebrities either - there have been almost a dozen deaths in my town recently, which is a lot when your population is only 500.
It's been the worst year of my life, and I'm not even joking. Deaths everywhere, robbings, muggings, massive fallouts... 2010 HAS to better or someone gonna choke a bitch.
OMG that's a lot! I've not had a lot of 'personal' deaths, thank God *touch wood* but 2009 will forever be remembered as the year my auntie finally succumbed :'(
What's been the main cause of those deaths? Are they linked?
God, 2009 was the worst year ever for like everyone I talk to. It was just an out and out shit of a year, I reckon. Cursed probably, by evil things. I hope 2010 IS a lot better (for you especially ♥ You should NOT have had to deal with all that), because god knows it'd take a lot to be worse.
Not linked, just as though everyone that was sick was finally called away at the same time. Most of them were a long time comming, but there were a few that came as a surprise. They say deaths come in threes around here, but, yeah. Not this year. It was a weird, weird year.
And oh, I can't believe I didn't say anything earlier! I'm so sorry about your auntie, love.
ABSOLUTELY. I even found a fanmix (http://dwg.livejournal.com/1040736.html) for how shoddy 2009 was. Oh, and a massively agreed with metaquote (http://community.livejournal.com/metaquotes/7310774.html). I don't know what it was about 2009, but it SUCKED, it sucked MASSIVELY and it sucked massively for EVERYONE. From an intellectual perspective, one has to wonder how 1 year can be so mutually bad for everybody, and so heinously bad at that. Like you said, everyone that has been spoken to hated 2009.
I'm feeling good about 2010, but that might just be because it's a new year, who knows. But it's the year I graduate, and get a job, and move out and whatever else, so there's a lot to go before it's over. Lighting never strikes in the same plave twice, that's what I'm hoping.
I take your ♥ and raise you *hugs*
I was pondering whether it was something about the age we're all in; as in the people that are famous, or known well even, are around a vulnerable age in their life... or something. Or maybe it was a particular harsh year because of finances or weather? The only thing I know is that 2009 has left the building, and that is great.
And about that, I've been sneakily reading your posts, and you've had a fair bit to deal with as well, so no worries about not saying anything sooner :) I'm just glas you're back and that we can both look forward to a much better 2010. And thanks for the condolences, they mean a lot, really :) *more hugs*
