My eldest daughter used to know those songs by heart when she was 5-6 ish. She was epecially fond of doing a really heartfelt rendition of the voice returning bit:"ahh ahh aahhh, ahh ahh aahhh..." even to the disney-esque warbling finale of: "ahh ahh aAaAaAaAaAaAahHhHhHh..."

So cute.

As a long-time little Mermaid fan, I knew the songs off by heart too. Maybe I still actually do :$ And that was one of my favourite bits too, haha. I even wore out my video, I watched it that much!

Hahaha. Cuteness.

(And I'm not sure what you know of the seething underworld of online writing, but some people like to write their own stories about established characters, many of them about relationships they wanted to see or wanted to see more of. That's usually demonstrated by the characters' names and a slash between them. Finding "fiction" like this is worrying to say the least :S )
