LOL! I think I glanced something about a spider in my flick! haha come on don't tell me your afraid of a little spiddy!
how big is it?
have you tried cupping it with a glass? or like trapping it in some sort of shape or form...sometimes I try and draw them under the rug the squash them under..haha that sounds horrible... but it does the trick..
don't tell me it disappeared into the room! hence the box thing? lool
I'm not... well, I wasn't, but then I had this really nasty nightmare a few months ago that just panicked me: I tell you, I was sweating, and unable to breathe properly, and just... possibly the worst nightmare ever. (Check my tag for 'dreams' if you wanna read what happened in it.) and since then, I've been really really scared of spiders.
And this one really WAS massive. SRSLY.
I usually cup them with a glass, then slide some cardboard under it, and tip it out the window, or put it outside or something; I don't hurt them if I can help it.
Yeah, it disappeared like that, actually. I didn't know where it was. It coulda been anywhere! This is why it (doesn't) make/s sense to keep my feet off the ground, lol. :P
gah! I meant flist! (stupid abbreviation's..never been good at them. off by two letters darn!)what is a flick anyways? ohh haha maybe I was in the mood for a chick-flick..:P
I only sqmush them under the carpet because i don't get to see the sqmush nor the dead poor thing and feel sorry for it.for me it's like. :) oh it magically disappeared :D
and after reading your dream..*shudders*!! gah you poor thing no wonder!! O_O eeergh yurck! eggs in your blood stream arghhhhh! @_@
I thought you could mean flick as in film, but then I was like, "that doesn't really make sense" :P I'm always in the mood for a chick flick :)
but isn't it messy when you have to clean it up? The number of times I've trapped a spider or some other bug under a glass only to accidentally cut one of it's legs off which then needs sorting out is quite a few. It's not pleasant. Socks are useful at this time, but then I have to wash them, like a hundred times before I want to wear them again.
Thanks :) I don't think I've ever been more panicked in my life. I dream a lot, but I haven't had a nightmare for years. I haven't had a nightmare that was actually that scary for more time than I can remember. And I have no idea where it came from!
I don't want to frighten you but that dream reminds me of something i saw online. a news report, an investigation on people who where convinced that body bugs were coming out of their skin!@_@.. I'd post the link..but I'd rather not..traumatize you for life. it's truly truly GROSS!
ehk! you know I once had a dream. where i was bit by a large hamster..he nibbled (more like chewed) on my neck. That was kind of freaky..oh and another one where in it I found a dead goose. and was standing next to it. then another goose came along saw me next to the dead one. and thought i did it..and it attacked me!! let me tell you it was angery!! it beacked my neck! (it's always the neck with me) now that was scary! I never liked geese! and I still don't I find them very intimidating..@_@
Thanks for not posting the link. I mean, a few days ago, I was working at work (what else? :P) and I overheard this guy talking about what happened to his friend. It turned out he'd been doing the same thing I had (enveloping) and then he'd got some weird infection thing. It wasn't an infection; it was a spider egg he'd ingested from licking an envelope O__O
yeah. scared me.
Thanks for not posting the link. I'd either be too scared to click it or too scared after seeing it.
A dead goose? That's a bit wierd, but who I am to talk? My dreams are quite crazy, as you might well be aware by now. That did make me lol though. Geese just seem a bit random. That said, I don't really like 'em either. And I might be a bit put off if I'd dreamt that :S
Oh that is such a good idea. I might have to invest in a box. Srsly why are there so many goddamn spiders? We should build a spider reserve or something in our gardens so that they can all fuck off into there instead of our rooms. It's not even funny anymore. If a dock off spider appears on my bed one more time I'm going to smack someone.
It's not a specific box, you understand? It's just a box that happens to be near my feet, in comfortable placing-feet-in-distance. It's actually a box full of stuff that probably needs to go to uni. Or at least be sorted out. But it was helpful anyway. I felt safer, having my feet in a box. I should thank it.
The last year has been like a SPIDER INVASION or something. I'm fine with seeing them outside, cos I figure that I'm invading their homes, and I'm threatening their lives, but when they come into my home, into my room, and I never invited them? That's not only rude, it's also pretty scary.
In conclusion: YOU'RE RIGHT. IT'S NOT FUNNY. SPIDERS SHOULD GET LOST.
