Relatives brought it up when I was younger as something I would be very good at doing, but being a writer is never something I thought of as a career choice, or even a long-term hobby, because writing books is HARD. Now I crave the ability to write and create, and it just seems so impossibly far away. sadface.

When I was younger it was just a thing you could be, but it was never a thing *I* could be. I'd love to do it as a sideline project but I fear that would mean I'd never devote enough time to it and it'd end up abandoned by the roadside. Proverbially speaking. The thing is, at least I know how to give up; knowing how to not give up is hard in itself. I like that though, it might be my new motto <3
