Mermaids, definitely. I've always had some sort of obsession with them, since I was born, and it should probably stop now. Hollyoaks. 5ive. Innocent pleasures as opposed to adult ones, like dancing to printer rhythms and pouring sand through my fingers. Identifying with telly characters, and believing music is about me. Playing with water, rhyming, reading childish books. Having stories read to me. Colouring-in. Enjoying all the toy ads that come on the teevee. Echoing, splashing, jumping. Staying up at night, staying out at night. Fairy lights and Christmas. Puddings. Bath toys. Dot-to-Dots. Charlie & Lola. Blue Cow. BBC 7's CBeebies hour. Pulling faces in mirrors.
