I'm glad :) Have you tried it?

[identity profile] purple_bug.livejournal.com 2009-11-14 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
You can also use a Ripple, but you have to be really quick. Best not to use freshly-made tea :o)

As soon as I plan to get out of this house, anyway, lols.

I HOPE SO. NOT EASY TO PLEASE ARE YOU.

I don't really know what I'm saying, but anyway.

lol Have you tried a kitkat chunky yet? Its easier if you break it in half.

A KIT. KAT. CHUNKY? O.M.G. I need to try all these out, seriously. And if you break it in half, that means you get two of them. WIN!

[identity profile] sellars88.livejournal.com 2009-11-15 02:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Little kitkats actually work better as straws, but the big ones are just fun.

Little ones??! How do they stay together with all that tea in them?

[identity profile] sellars88.livejournal.com 2009-11-15 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Well you do it one finger at a time and they dont really. You have to learn the suck and pop technique so you can get it into your mouth before it all dissolves in your hand. You dont have to break those in two btw.

That's what she said?

Hahhahah. I make myself lol sometimes. That's bad. Suck and pop. Suck and pop? I presume you mean you suck up the tea and then break it off before it gets too soggy?

[identity profile] sellars88.livejournal.com 2009-11-16 12:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Break off the finger, suck up the tea and then pop it in your mouth. It is all about speed. You're over thinking it.

Still what she said.

Speed, right. I'm not used to it. I mean, penguins can be used two or three times before you risk breakage, although it's never a hot drink then, so maybe that's something.

Next time I've got one, I'll have a go with that.

[identity profile] james0289.livejournal.com 2009-11-15 01:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I really, really, really, really want to try this now.

:( I've got some, but I don't think they send through the internet.

There are plenty of other suggestions. Kit Kat Chunky? Galaxy Ripple? Penguin? Breakaway bar?

I'm trying to hold back on the chocolate till nearer Yule Time; I guess this trick doesn't work so well with a carrot stick... ho-hum :(

If it did I wouldn't want to try it myself anyway. Tea and carrot sounds a bit disgusting.

I'm impressed holding back on the chocolate, and the straw technique! Here comes a chocolatey strawey Christmas right? :P
