Writer's Block: Don't Call It a Comeback

[Error: unknown template qotd] My London housemate went Up North and I got a text saying, "Up North smells funny."

Three weeks later, I wanted to reply, "Yeah, that's called 'Fresh Air'."

YEAH. WAAAAAAY too late.

I got a really good one one time, though, pity I can't actually remember doing it.

I was mid-conversation with the bezzies, sitting on the floor of the school yard. I'm a strong believer in the power of imagination, so being cold, I was pretending there was a fire to warm my hands on. The bezzies, used to all the insane fandango that is my brain and/or life just shrugged and accepted it.

Anyway anyway anyway, THEN one of the "cool" girls comes over, pushes the bezzies out of the way, and proceeds to give me a dirty look:

Girl: What the hell are you doing on the floor?
Me: Warming my hands on an invisible fire.
Girl: You are such a loser.
Me: Yeah, and you're stood in the fire.

She didn't really know what to say after that, but I think I pissed on her fire. pun!

I find it only works when I'm alone, or in the company of others who understand and accept my odd tendencies. P:

It's even better when said others participate in the peculiar behavior. :3
