I always want to say "talken".

I'm collecting words.

Particularly those that end in 'en'

Here's my list:

Woken
Drunken
Eaten
Spoken
Stolen
Fallen
Driven
Hidden
Ridden
Beaten
Beholden
Embroiden?
Enlighten
Broaden
Shorten
Lengthen
Broken
Written
Arisen
Chosen
Forgiven
Risen
Forgotten
Frighten
Frozen?
Leaven
Awaken
Moisten
Fasten
Soften
Harden
Freshen-up
Sunken
darken,
deepen
harden
madden
widen
brighten
happen

threaten
heighten
lengthen
strengthen
hearten

any more?

In light of how many we've found so far, this suffix still confuses me.

Beaten: Their team made it to the final round, but was ultimately beaten. OR He was going to say something, but was beaten to it by someone else.

Beholden: I'm very beholden to our HR person for hiring me! ;)

thanks :) I don't think I've heard "beholden" before though.

I know so little about stuff, it's incredible.

Live and learn! ;) Beholden is an awesome word, if a bit archaic; somewhere between thankful and obliged.
