I just felt silly but yes a new journal for you too spam :D
Do_or_did? I sure shall when I have more of it together. But I have a oneshot in word which I wil post tomorrow :) Plus its a fluffie which has Frankie accepting their relationship which I feel happened in E4!. I'm physic me!!
Yay. I thought you might have got a new journal, but wasn't sure.
Yeah, that thing obviously didn't work. But I' ve commented on it now, so obviously you've put it up and I've read it. What did Frankie say in E4? I haven't been watching it very much because nothing is really happening at the moment (or seems like it) but I caught an episode the other day, where Frankie was saying that it's "not like that, there are other people for us too" when Steph was crying about Max. Is that what you meant?
I was chuffed with your comment :) That was actually another one shot which I still haven't finished. I will soon though! *promises* I just felt that Frankie accepted love. So I in my head thought she might accept JPC :)
Congrats! I used to panic over cooking roasts but now I find that, next to curry, they are quite relaxing to prepare. Once the initial prep is done, you can sit down with a cuppa and enjoy the smells.
Relaxing? I guess I can see your point, because once it's all prepared, it's just waiting for the right time to put it all together. And in fact, that is exactly what I did, with a cuppa and the tasty tasty aromas coming from my kitchen. Albeit with a bit of LJ snooping too :P
Mmmmm. Chicken is my favourite I think, but lamb is the tastiest roast, definitely. How do you prepare that?
Recipes vary but my fave is brushed with olive oil & sprinkled with rosemary (or cut slots and shove r'mary sprigs in) at about 180 or gas 5. I think it's something like 30mins per kg but I'd have to look it up. The trick is to cover it with foil as soon as it's out of the oven and leave to rest for 20-30 mins to soak in the juices. That way it doesn't dry out.
In the meantime you can be knocking up some red wine gravy.
At this point I'm going to stop because I'm sooo hungry.
No, not yet, I'm finding out whether it was a one off or whether it actually is a thing, don't want to go being all hypercondriac when it's just me being dehydrated or something. Thanks for your concern :)
It's way too hot here for a roast. No turning on of the oven will be happening at all. 39C is obscene and I really don't approve. That's why we own a bbq. So we can grill meat and not have to melt in our own house. lol.
Still, roast chicken is one of my favourite things in the world, just not in the middle of summer. Unless someone else has done it and somehow the house is still miraculously cold.
Hahaha, I bet. BUT I LOVE BBQS MORE THAN ROASTS, SO I REALLY AM FINE ABOUT THAT. ROASTS ARE NEXT TO BUFFETS AND HOT PORK SANDWICHES ON THE LIST OF THINGS I LOVE. AND I LOVE THEM :D
It is a lot better when someone else has made it for you, definitely. Sometimes it even tastes better, I'm sure of it. :P
