Definitely. I always feel I put so much of myself onto the things I own, and so when they get taken, it can feel very much like I've been got at personally. I guess it's not surprising I felt a bit vulnerable and insecure.

Thanks for you comment, it actually helped to get over it a lot. I'm still gutted, because it had a lot of holiday snaps (no-one ever says "snaps" to mean 'photos' anymore, do they?) and some really nice little texts. At the end of the day, I haven't been hurt, nor lost anything that important, but I don't think I'll forget it for a long time especially since the new phone I've got is annoying me no end.
